Tars Set To Host the Yellow Jackets

SET UP: The Tars will turn their attention to Baldwin Wallace as the Ohio opponent them before heading home for winter break.

WHO TO WATCH:

ROLLINS:

Christian Huber was the top swimmer at the SCAD invitational the Tars last time out taking third and setting a new school record in the 100 yard freestyle. He was also named the SSC Swimmer of the Week with the performance. He is ranked 26th in the nation and third in the SSC in the event. Huber also set a new program record in the 50- yard freestyle and his mark is 0.12 faster than the previous record (21.50).

Alex Norcini second place ranking in the SSC for the 500 yard freestyle ranking second with a time of 4:35.94.

Elliot Wylie is ranked seventh in the SSC for the 200 yard backstroke stopping the clock at 1:52.56.

BALDWIN WALLACE: The Yellow Jackets returning from the Diamond City Invitational were led by Michael Lewis as he won the 200-yard breaststroke in a career-best time of 2:13.98, won the 200-yard individual medley in a career-best time of 1:59.39 and was fourth in the 100-yard breaststroke in a time of 1:01.32. Greg Shaw won the 100-yard butterfly in a time of 52.78,  was the runner-up in the 200-yard butterfly in a season-best time of 2:06.59. Baldwin Wallace is 5-2 in dual meet this year.

NEXT:

The Tars will be back next semester, hosting SCAD on Saturday, January 5. The meet will take place in the Alfond Pool in Winter Park, Fla.
