Tars Stung Yellow Jackets

WINTER PARK, Fla.  (December 17, 2018) – The Tars stung the Yellow Jackets in the pool, earning the win with 116 points, while Baldwin Wallace ended the afternoon with 64 points.

In the 200 yard medley relay, Harrison Robertson, Eric Jaffe, Jason Heishman, and Elliot Wylie finished runner-up with a time of 1:30.22.

Alex Noricini finished in first place in the 500 yard freestyle (4:47.91), followed by Kyle Major in second place with a time of 4:56.05, and Keegan Rose in third place (5:02.06).

In the 50 yard freestyle, Brady Spear in first place (22:32) while Peter Haddad finished third with a time of 23:50.

Christian  Huber finished first place in the 100 yard IM (54.39) and runner-up in the 50 yard butterfly (24.04).

Chase Benton took home a first place time of 56.38 in the 50 yard butterfly.

In the 100 yard freestyle the Tars finished first, second, and third. Asa Marvel with gold (49.04), Alex Noricini with silver (49.52), and with bronze Luke Waite with at time of 50.56.

Paul Tobin earned first place (26.57) and Harrison Robertson third (27.11) in the 50 yard backstroke.

Elliot Wylie finished first in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:51.35.

Finishing runner-up in the 50 yard breaststroke was Luiggi Reno with a time of 28.42.

In the last event of the day the Tars finished first in the 200 yard freestyle relay as the team of Spear, Asa Marvel, Willis, and Waite finished with a time of 1:28.02.

The Tars will be back in action next on semester Saturday, January 5 hosting SCAD at Alfond Swimming Pool.
