Set-up:
After a strenuous week hitting the books and taking off from competition for final exams, Rollins is set to host Trinity Christian in its final nonconference game of the year. The Tars are winners of three straight and vaulted into a tie for first place in the Sunshine State Conference, joining Florida Southern as the only unbeatens in league play. Monday's game will be the Tars final tune-up before playing their next 17 games against SSC competition. Trinity Christian is an NAIA school out of Palos Heights, Illinois and will be in Winter Park for the first time. The Trolls play twice before their visit to the Sunshine State, which also includes stops at Southeastern in Lakeland and Florida College in Temple Terrace. TCC will be playing three games in three days on the trip.

Tracking the Tars:
Rollins is riding high, coming off three-straight wins before its final exams recess. Each of the victories have been in dominant fashion, winning by an average of 21.6 points a game. The last time out was 29-point thrashing at Palm Beach Atlantic, 69-41. Denise Daniels poured in a career-high 22 points while Rachel Lia netted 12. The Tars held PBA to just four first quarter points and led 34-17 at the half. Carly McLendon leads the team on the season, putting gup 10.8 points and 8.9 rebounds a game. The senior is second in the SSC in rebounding and has a conference-best 28 blocks. Daniels is getting 9.5 points and 4.5 rebounds while Yari Martinez-Toro scores 8.4 a game. The Tars are beating teams on the glass by a league-best 9.8 a game.

Tracking the Trolls:
Trinity Christian will play at Roosevelt University in Chicago on Saturday before making the trip South. The Trolls were 2-0 to start the year, but are on a 10-game skid. TCC went 17-17 a year ago, but returned just five players from the .500 squad. They started this season with convincing wins over Cornerstone and Lincoln College. Since, points have been hard to come by with the Trolls scoring 62.6 while allowing 78 a night. Jasmine Elliott leads the way with 19.2 points and eight rebounds per game. The forward has played in seven games and posted 30 points against St. Ambrose.  Breanna Toppen is putting up 12.9 points and a team-best 2.5 assists a game. Aubrey Goorman comes into the game with 21 blocks. Bill DeRuiter is in his third season leading the Trolls.
