WINGATE, N.C. (August 31, 2017) – Rollins will have to wait an extra 24 hours to get their season underway, as weather forced the postponement of the Tars opener. Lightning delayed the start of the game five minutes before kickoff, and with more inclement weather on the horizon the decision was made to postpone the contest.
Rollins will now play Lees-McRae at a neutral site in Wingate, North Carolina on Friday, September 1, at 4 p.m.
The Tars Saturday contest against No. 1 Wingate was unaffected and remains slated for September 2, at 7 p.m.
