Rollins Falls to FSC in Tight Dual Meet

LAKELAND, FLA. (October 18, 2019)- Rollins travled to Florida Southern and gave the Mocs a fight before ultimately falling 158-101. 

Freshman Connor Xu lead the Tars with two victories on the day, winning the 200 medley relay (1:36.01) and the 200 breaststroke (2:11.88). Xu also finished second in the 1000 freestyle, touching the wall in 9:55.64. 

Dan Sulkowski took first in the 100 breaststroke with the time of 1:01.09. Teammate Luiggi Reno finished fourth (1:02.99). 

Alex Norcini captured a first place in the 200 IM with a time of 2:03.22 and also finished third in the 500 freestyle (4:52.51). 

Christian Huber clinched third in the 50 free with a time of 21.82. 

Asa Marvel finished third in the 200 butterfly (1:57.85). 

Marvel, Andrew Relihan, Cruse Sweeney, and Huber closed out the meet in the 400 relay coming in first with a time of 3:14.47. 

Rollins will drive back down I-4 October 19 to compete against Tampa with the first event starting at 10:30 a.m.
