Rollins Solid in Princeton Invite Opener

PRINCETON, N.J. (September 28, 2019) – Highlighted by a hole-in-one from Lara van Staden, Rollins fired a nine-over 297 to grab fifth to start he Princeton Invitational. 

Seton Hall leads the field at five-under with Penn (+3) in second and host Princeton (+4) in third. Yale is three shots in front of the Tars at six-over. 

Seher Atwal and Selin Timur are tied for 11th to lead the Tars. Both Atwal and Timur had four birdies on the day to start the tournament. 

Van Staden fired a hole-in-one on the par-three, 147-yard No. 5 and is tied for 25th after shooting a 75. Taby Robinson, playing as an individual, is tied for 25th with van Staden at three-over. The Michigan State transfer had six birdies but had seven hole of bogey or worse. 

Jennifer Jung is tied for 34th, sitting at four-over for the day for the day. Katharina Hesse (individual) is tied for 42nd, posting a five-over 77. YeonJoo Kim is tied for 52nd
