WINTER PARK, FLA.(January 17, 2020)- The Tars women's swim team picked up their fourth win of the season, beating the Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico 186-75. 

To start the day off Rollins, took first place in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:52.14. The relay team consisted of Marisa Gingerich, Darrelle Pawley, Emily Hennessy and Maya Thompson

Beatriz Olivieri enjoyed a big day with two individual wins in the 200 yard freestyle (1:57.79) and the 100 yard butterfly (1:00.95). Teammate Sydney Willis had one individual win, taking the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 10:52.69. 

Hannah Brockman took first in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 55.27. Darrelle Pawley finished first place in the 50 yard breastroke (32.23). Pawley also took first in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:10.24. Maya Thompson secured second place in the 50 yard freestyle (25.16) and third place in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 55.56.

Marisa Gingerich finished first place in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:00.16. Gingerich also took third in the 50 yard backstroke (28.19). Macy Trattner finished fourth in the 50 yard backstroke (29.37). Emily Hennessy finished first place in the 100 IM (1:02.14) and second in the 50 yard butterfly (27.61).

Abby Frey took second in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 5:25.22. Anna Van Zyverden finished fourth in the 50 yard freestyle (25.58) and also took third in the 50 yard butterfly with a time of 27.68. Jill Hughes took first place in the 500 yard freestyle stopping the clock in 5:14.51. Shae Knox took first place in the 50 yard butterfly (27.23). Jamie Manns finished third in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:15.04). Sam Shelly took third in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 25.54. Cara Dealy finished third in the 100 IM (1:04.70). 

Rollins will be back in the pool Saturday January 18 against Lynn at noon to finish off the spring season.
