Rollins Posts PR's At Florida Tech

MELBOURNE, FLA. (September 7, 2019)- The women's cross country meet was up early for their first meet of the season at Florida Tech. Rollins newcomers shined in hot and humid conditions. 

Rollins took eight runners to the 5K event and finished sixth overall. Saint Leo took the win while Nova Southeastern was second and Palm Beach Atlantic took third. 

Freshman Nicole Rodriguez-Martinez lead the pack for the Tars and finished 48th with a time of 23:42. Freshman Angelina Khourisader finished 58th with a time of 26:06. Sophomore Anna Belle Warren was on Khourisaders heels, placing 59th with a time of 26:12. Warren also had a new personal best two minute faster than last season as a freshman. 

Emily Zientek (26:39) and Laura Tobin (26:44) finished 64thand 65th, respectively. Alex Lichtner finished 73rd, Carys Davidson-Huxley 74thand Courtney Trohn 76th

Rollins will travel next weekend to Gainesville, Fla. for the Mountain Dew Gator Invitational September 14.
