Rollins Closes the 2019 Cross Country Season

BOCA RATON, FLA. (October 26, 2019)- The Rollins women's cross country team closed out its 2019 season at the Sunshine State Conference Championship Saturday, taking ninth.  

Tampa cruised to the SSC title, beating Saint Leo by nine. Florida Southern, Embry-Riddle and Palm Beach Atlantic rounded out the top-five.

Natasha Kusibab blazed the trail for the Tars, placing 65th with a time of 27:48.6. Nicole Rodriquez- Martinez finished 71st, stopping the clock in 29:12.0. Khelsie Raley finished 74th (29:38.5). 

Emily Zienkek finished 79th (30:23.4). Anna Belle Warren finished 82nd with a time of 30:54.0. Laura Tobin right on Warren's heels and finished 83rd (31:18.4). Angelina Khourisader took 84th with a time of 31:52.9, Kerstin Carroll finished 85th (32:21.0) and Carys Davidson-Huxley 88th (35:28.7).

The SSC Championship finished the Tars 2019 season. Rollins will be back in action fall 2020.
